INTERPLAY
(BOOKENDED WITH ENERGY MEDICINE)
InterPlay is a body-centered improvisational approach that can help us to find wonder, laughter, community, recognition, affirmation, and personal expression. Grounded in the knowledge of the power of play, it is an incremental and self-led approach that weaves together movement, storytelling, and sound.

Before InterPlay, we soothe and sew back together pieces of our nervous system that have become fragmented from stress.  After InterPlay, we zip up to maximize our energetic resilience.  These tools will be shared to take home and use in your daily lives.

GUIDED SENSORY WALK

A guided sensory walk invites participants to move slowly and intentionally through their surroundings, anchoring attention in the present moment through sight, sound, touch, scent, and bodily sensation. Rooted in mindfulness meditation, the practice cultivates calm awareness, gently quiets mental chatter, and deepens connection to both the inner landscape and the living world around us.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Enjoy a relaxing 30-60 minute massage designed to soothe your body and mind. Our skilled therapists use gentle techniques to relieve tension while you remain comfortably dressed in our common space with the other (1-3) Massage Therapists (Additional Cost).

REFLECT - MOVE - CREATE

We invite you to flow from restorative quietude and reflection to explore your body wisdom through movement meditation and then capture your feelings and experiences with color and form on paper. Throughout we will practice looking for the good in ourselves and each other to help awaken our creativity and invite it out to play. We will end with an opportunity to put words on paper, to capture and explore the experience in a new creative medium. All participation is always from your own inner authority with your choices honored and respected.

(Offered ONLY during the June/Summer Solstice retreat).

OPENING & CLOSING CIRCLES

Our retreat begins and ends with intentional circles designed to ground the group, deepen personal insight, and build meaningful connection.

In the opening circle, participants are gently welcomed into a shared space where they can arrive fully, set heartfelt intentions, and begin to feel supported by the group energy.

The retreat concludes with a closing circle, offering time to integrate the experience, share insights, and honor the personal shifts that have taken place.
