2026 DATES & THEMES (FRI-SUN)
Nurturing a Nature Connected Practice
June 12th–14th, 2026
This weekend centers on bringing practice beyond the studio and into direct relationship with the natural world. Participants will enjoy yoga and meditation sessions held outdoors, establish a personal “sit spot” to return to throughout the weekend, and learn specific contemplative practices designed for time in nature. Through mindful movement, stillness, and guided reflection, the retreat explores the unique gifts of practicing awareness outside—deepening presence, sensory attunment, and connection to the land.
LEAD FACILITATOR: EMILY ADAMA
Somatic Practices for Nervous System Regulation
July 17th–19th, 2026
In addition to yoga and mindfulness, participants will learn other somatic techniques that support the nervous system in moving through stress and dysregulation. Practices may include breathwork, grounding techniques, intentional movement (intuitive yoga and dance), tapping, guided somatic meditations, and restorative nature-based practices. This weekend is ideal for anyone seeking a body-centered pathway to well-being that deepens the mind–body connection and offers practical tools for regulating the nervous system in daily life.
LEAD FACILITATOR: ARI WAKEMAN
Yoga & Meditation Practices for Women
July 10th–12th, 2026
This special weekend will focus on techniques and practices that support the physical, emotional, and energetic needs of Yoginis*. Much of the techniques are drawn from the work of Uma Dinsmore Tuli. We will explore techniques that support:
-
The physical and energetic needs of the womb or womb-space
-
The different phases of the menstruating body
-
The pregnant, postpartum, and lactating body
-
The perimenopausal and menopausal body
Saturday night will feature a special musically accompanied Yoga Nidra and Bhakti Song Circle (songs/chants in Sanskrit and English).
*At gender-specific EarthWell retreats, we aim to be inclusive of all gender identities. Gender non-conforming yoginis are welcome. We also uplift the power of the female body, and yoginis.
LEAD FACILITATOR: MIRIAM DOWD-ELLER
Exploring Mantra, Song
and Chant
August 14th–16th, 2026
This weekend explores mantra, song, and chant as tools to deepen our yoga and meditation practices. Drawing on yogic and contemplative traditions, participants will explore how vibration, repetition, and voice can calm the nervous system, focus the mind, and open the heart. No singing experience is required—only a willingness to listen, feel, and allow sound to become a pathway into presence.
LEAD FACILITATOR: EMILY ADAMA

MEDITATION IN NATURE
Nature-connection or sensory meditation invites individuals to immerse themselves in nature, fostering presence and awareness. By engaging the senses, participants cultivate a deep connection to their surroundings, promoting relaxation and mindfulness while enhancing overall well-being.

SOUND BATH
Rest in stillness as you’re guided through the body, inviting deep relaxation and emotional release. A therapeutic sound bath—featuring bowls, chimes, and other instruments—supports balance, grounding, and renewal.
